Submit IdeaTV Shows not playing in sequential order
I noticed that tv shows don't play in sequential order for that "mini marathon" feel (e.g. show 1 s01e01, s02e02, s03e03; show 2 s01e01, s01e01 etc.) Not sure if this is a intentional or a bug.

Cartoon Channel showing weird content
I tuned into the cartoon channel and for some reason the guide decided to play what would you do which absolutely isn’t a cartoon.

Option to create custom channels
It would be nice to create custom channels that show specific shows and movies for that one person that just wants to see these select things.

Loop channel guide when reaching bottom
When scrolling list of channels, when reaching the bottom of the list, allow the next "down" input to "loop" back to "channel 2" to make it easier to scroll. Sometimes you need to "go around the horn" to find the channel you want.

Channel logos
Have channel logos overlaid while watching video, preferably on the bottom right, see through like network and cable channels

Actor/Director in info section
Would be cool to be able to see 2-3 actors and the director of movies in the info section. Probably not necessary for tv shows.

Disable default channels
Once the app has gone public and those who pay for the app, that we have the option to disable the default channels in favour of our own custom channels.

I want my Mtv
One feature idea I wanted to suggest: Plex music videos as a source for channels. Plex already supports artist-linked music videos, and they show up on the artist’s main page in both the web app and Apple TV app. The problem is that Plex barely does anything with them. They’re kind of hidden away, and there’s very little browsing or control. As far as I understand it, Plex handles these by either: using a global music video folder, or finding them inside the artist folder structure alongside music files If the files are organized in artist-named folders, Plex links them to the artist page automatically. Beyond that, the only other practical way to browse them is to expose that same music video folder as a separate Home Videos library, which is pretty clunky since Plex doesn’t really have a true music video library type or agent. What would be amazing in BunnyEarsTV would be the ability to pull those artist music videos from Plex and treat them as channel content. I’m new to the beta, so I’m not sure how much metadata you’re already pulling from the Plex API, but I assume the path would be something like: pull artists identify artist-linked music videos use that data to build themed channels If the API exposes those linked videos cleanly, this could open up some really fun possibilities using your genre/tag/channel logic. For example: Yo! BunnyTV Raps7200 Seconds (a 120 Minutes-style alt/indie channel)Earbangers BallNew Wave TheaterCountry Fried TV Basically, it would let people turn Plex’s mostly buried music video support into something that actually feels alive and usable like a real MTV/VH1-style cable experience, which feels totally in the spirit of what BunnyEarsTV is doing. Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there because it seems like a really natural fit for the app.

Get back to Menu easier.
Sometimes when I’m way down at the bottom of the music channels, I have to scroll all the way back up just to access the menu. The back button isn’t taking me to the top like I expected. Forgive me if I missed something or overlooked the directions.

User Profiles
It would be cool to have different profiles similar to what is in Plex. I share certain libraries with certain users so versus having to hide channels that maybe I don't want the kids to access, it would be easier to have a profile that those channels are hidden on.

iPhone and iPad app
I know that you are prioritizing the Apple TV app but it would be amazing to have the app available for iPhone and iPad as well. When traveling, I don’t tend to bring my Apple TV with me but I do bring these devices.

Allow selecting multiple Plex libraries from shared servers (friends/family)
When a friend or family member shares their Plex server with you, their libraries should appear as selectable sources in Bunny Ears TV. Users should be able to enable multiple shared libraries alongside their own, so channels are built from a combined pool of content. This would be especially useful for households where one person has a large movie collection and another has a deep TV library — combining them would make the channel lineup feel much more complete. The app could show a list of all available servers and libraries during setup or in settings, with toggles to include or exclude each one.

Expose channel logic / make it customisable
I love not having to make my own channels, but some of them don’t match what I’d expect from the channel. It would be useful to see the internal logic for matching movies/tv to channels - that way I could update Plex items for those conditions (docs on this site/ api) Equally, allowing those conditions to be customisable or crowd sourced too allow users to submit their own channel ideas / make suggestions to existing ones.

throw warning when app
If possible, add a warning when leaving the app - it's easy to push back one too many times, especially when in the settings.

Report Playback via Plex Timeline API
It would be helpful if the Bunny Ears reported active playback sessions back to Plex so they appear properly in Plex Web Dashboard and Plex Dash. This would benefit anyone who uses Plex’s server-side monitoring tools, especially people managing shared servers, checking current playback remotely, or expecting Apple TV playback to behave like other Plex clients in the dashboard. Right now, if playback is not being reported in the standard way, the session can feel invisible or incomplete from the server side. A good implementation would be for the app to send normal playback timeline/progress updates to Plex during session start, playback progress, and stop events, using the identifiers Plex expects for an active client session via the Timeline API.
